  Stopped here while driving through the area and was so happy I did! Their food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and homemade. Everyone who works there is really friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back the next time I'm nearby.

  Mayme's is one of an extremely limited class of establishments is the area that is of high quality where the owners take pride in their product (food) and rank in the highest percentile when it comes to food quality, menu options, price, friendliness and atmosphere; in my personal opinion. While I was living and working in the area, I was a customer often and always had a positive experience, whether it be breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. New specials are available daily and they operate as a BYO for wine/beer when dining in. Mayme's is one of the few places that isn't stuck 30 years in the past only staying open sure to reputation ahead of quality of food or quality of service, like so many other restaurants (or anywhere for that matter) in the glum, gray little Hazleton area. Where there is so much rust, Mayme's shines.
